When it comes to high-impact team headshots, timing, coordination, and quality matter. At Holladay Photography, we specialize in delivering standout corporate and sports team headshots that are bold, cinematic, and tailored for both print and digital use. One of our recent projects perfectly illustrates what sets us apart: photographing the West Michigan Whitecaps on Media Day.

Two Setups, One Day – Maximum Efficiency

Media Day is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially when working with a professional sports organization like the West Michigan Whitecaps. On this particular day, we were tasked with capturing:

  • Headshots for the stadium scoreboard – clean, well-lit portraits that would represent each player during in-game introductions.
  • Portraits for promotional materials – dynamic, character-driven images for programs, posters, and digital marketing.

To meet these needs, we set up two complete headshot stations, each designed for a specific purpose. One was styled for the clean, high-key scoreboard look, while the other featured a more cinematic lighting setup ideal for media guides and promotional use.

All of this had to be executed in a single day—working quickly with a full roster of players, coaches, and staff. Thanks to our experience and preparation, every image was delivered on time and to spec.

Featured on the MLB Website

One of the most exciting aspects of this project? The scoreboard headshots we captured are also used by Major League Baseball (MLB) on their official website. That means the quality of these portraits had to meet not just team standards—but national-level broadcasting and branding requirements.

We’re proud that our photography represents the Whitecaps both in-stadium and online, where fans across the country can see each player’s professional portrait.

Why Teams Trust Holladay Photography

We understand the demands of professional organizations. Whether you're leading a sports franchise, corporate office, or nonprofit team, you need headshots that reflect the personality and professionalism of your brand—without disrupting your schedule.

Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

  • Custom lighting setups for different usage needs (e.g., print, digital, scoreboard, web)
  • Fast turnaround and efficient coordination on tight timelines
  • On-location setup that works in your space—whether it’s a stadium, office, or conference center

Not Just for Athletes

While the Whitecaps project highlighted our experience with sports teams, we bring the same level of polish to corporate team headshots, executive portraits, and staff photos. Whether it’s a group of 10 or 100, we create a smooth, professional experience—and the results speak for themselves.
